Postwar Chevrolet

Welcome to Postwar Chevrolet. This site is dedicated to the restoration of my 1948 Chevrolet as well as to all post WWII Chevrolets 1946-1954. While the term "postwar" is often used for cars built any time after 1945, one can distinguish those cars immediately following WWII and for Chevrolet at least I consider the development of the small block V8 engine(1955) to be the end of the "postwar" period.
